Conference Overview
Date: Saturday 25th July, 2026
Time: 8:45 am - 3:45 pm (registration opens at 8:15 am)
Venue: Tawa School - 6A Oxford Street, Tawa, Wellington, 5026
The day will feature two keynote speaker presentations and four workshop sessions. Up to eight different streams will be running during each workshop session.
Registration
At registration, we are asking for attendees to preselect the streams they would like to attend. This is to ensure we can safely manage the capacity in each session. Once registration is complete changes to streams cannot be made and we ask that you adhere to these choices on the day.
Step 1: Please review the SBP WGN Conference Timetable (below). Note that a workshop stream selection is required by each attendee for each of the four session times in order for registration to be completed. Ensure you have these selections in mind before you begin the registration process. The SBP WGN Speaker Programme details the full presentation abstract for each of our speakers to help with your decision making. Prior selection of the keynote speakers is not required, it is assumed all attendees will be present.
Step 2: On the registration page (one registration per person) please enter your details. You will also need to select the stream you wish to go to across the four session times. If a workshop stream is full it will be marked (FULL) next to the name of the person running the workshop.
Step 3: Payment is required by direct debit. When you submit your registration, you will receive a confirmation email along with your stream selection. Please ensure you print a copy of this as this will serve as your entry into the conference.
If you have any issues during registration please call (Olwyn) 021 261 5542 or email ojohnston@tawa.school.nz.

The cost of each ticket is $80 + GST ($92 in total for each ticket). Morning tea and lunch are included in the registration price. We have tried to make this conference as accessible and as affordable as possible. We do have a maximum of 250 registrations, so we are encouraging people to consider this if they are registering for more than one person. The registration confirmation email will serve as your conference ticket and should be printed and brought to the conference by each person attending.
